Buying industrial food:

Contributes to the environment pollution (*).

Workers in the fields and farmers are exposed to chemical products : health risk

Contributes to big companies profit.

Contributes to loss of the biodiversity.

Consumers health risk (pay more to repair health , but with heavy pharmaceutical treatment and loses of immunity)

(*) Pesticides are sprayed on the food to eradicate worms. Unfortunately :

It will also eradicate good insect like earth-worm, ladybug, bee, …

It will also pollute aquifers and rivers

All these chemical will come back into our dish (water, fish, …).

Buying Organic food :

Give more money to have better product. More taste, more diversity.

Money will go in the pocket of the famers and workers. Not for Big industries

Make a good move for the environment.

Less risk for the consumer.

Remark : In media’s, “Traditional Agriculture” means “Industrial agriculture”. It is another way to misinform the public and thus to hide chemicals products in our food.

“Tradition”, for me, means “what we make in the past”, so, “without chemical products” and not what we make now…They have to say “Modern Agriculture, Industrial agriculture, …”
